Hi June Parker Jewellery at Shop This Is Glamorous

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Singapore, jewellery designer HyeJun Park attended Syracuse University to study Industrial Design. She fell in love with the craftsmanship and the art of Metalsmithing upon taking a studio elective class and moved to New York City to pursue her passion for jewellery design.

HyeJun has since designed and developed jewellery for fashion brands such as Liz Claiborne, Juicy Couture, Kenneth Cole and Macy’s. During this time, she designed custom jewellery pieces for close friends and family whilst developing and refining her own aesthetic and style for her line: Hi June Parker Jewelry.

Growing up in large cities, HyeJun has always been fascinated with the contrast between the industrial and organic nature of the urban landscape. The synergy of order and disorder found within these environments from concrete jungle to nature are sources of inspiration for her. She sees beauty in the structural elements of buildings, construction sites and the composition of nature, such as parks and waterfronts that exist between these spaces.
